Siouxsie Q and Missy Minks to model for Erotic Film School!

Our lucky Erotic Film School Students are in for the treat!  We have the brilliant Siouxsie Q and Missy Minks both performing for our EFS student made film this weekend!

Siouxsie Q is the creator and host of the acclaimed podcast The WhoreCast which showcases the stories art and voices of American sexworkers. As an active sexworker herself Siouxsie Q is committed to fighting for sexworker rights and ending exploitation within the industry. Her column, “The Whore Next Door” runs every week in the San Francisco Weekly, and she also writes for Eros Media, and When not feverishly writing or rushing to record her next interview for CNN, Wired Magazine, or USA Today, Siouxsie Q teaches classes on non-monogamy with her co-host and fiancee Jesse James, and stars in feminist, fetish and mainstream porn, which garnered her an 2015 AVN nomination for Best All Girl Group Sex Scene. Fighting for Truth, Justice, and the American Whore is what Siouxsie was born to do, but she’ll happily talk baseball, BDSM, and Broadway musicals with you if prompted.

A sex worker, performer, activist, educator, and overall femme fatale tour de force, Andre Shakti graduated cum laude from Towson University in Maryland with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and LGBT Studies in 2010. Originally from the East Coast, she now occupies the epicenter of all that is good and unholy, The San Francisco Bay Area. She produces monthly nightlife entertainment, graces burlesque stages and go-go boxes, and works as a queer and alternative porn performer, dominatrix, session wrestler, and live webcam model in addition to holding down a not-so-top-secret position in the information security industry. She never sleeps! Andre frequently lectures and advises on issues surrounding sexual pleasure, gender diversity, sex worker rights, non-monogamy, and queerness. Most recently her projects have included facilitating a “Porn Fest” track at this year’s International Ms Leather Conference, and co-founding the first “Sex Down South” conference in Atlanta, Georgia this coming October.

Malic Amalya is an Oakland-based queercore artist working in 16mm film and lo-fi video. His work has screened widely, including in the San Francisco Cinematheque’s Crossroads Film Festival, the Onion City Experimental Film & Video Festival in Chicago, and the MIX NYC Queer Experimental Film Festival. Malic is the recipient of the 2014 GOLDIE Award in Film, presented by the SF Bay Guardian. His film Gold Moon, Sharp Arrow won Best Experimental Film at the 2012 Northwest Filmmakers’ Festival in Portland, Oregon. Malic holds an MFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MA in History and Theory of Contemporary Art from the San Francisco Art Institute.

Malic lectures at the California College of the Arts (CCA) and will be teaching two courses on queer experimental film in the Public Education Department (open to all adults) at the San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) in the Fall of 2015.

Annie Sprinkle, Ph.D., has been pioneering new film genres since 1974 including fetish porn, post porn, gonzo, feminist porn, couples erotica, and edu-porn. She’s been in many documentaries and features (Gendernauts, Inside Deep Throat, Naked Feminist, NY77, Monica Truet’s My Father is Coming), and TV docs (four HBO Real Sex segments, The Sexual Revolution on the History Channel.) She’s an internationally known sex worker and performance artist, who is currently pioneering the ecosexual movement. Performance Studies International honored her with the Artist/Activist/Scholar award at Stanford in 2013.
Annie Sprinkle is an internationally known multimedia artist who has toured theater pieces since 1989 to 21 countries. She is one of the pivotal players in the 80’s “sex positive feminist movement.” Her film, The Sluts & Goddesses Video Workshop: Or How to Be A Sex Goddess in 101 Easy Steps, played over 300 international film festivals and art venues, including the Guggenheim Museum and is considered a women’s sex film classic. She’s been involved in dozens of documentaries and numerous features (Inside Deep Throat, The Naked Feminist, Monica Truet’s My Father is Coming, and Gendernauts,), and been in many TV shows such as four HBO Real Sex segments and The Sexual Revolution on the History Channel. She started out in x-rated feature films in the 70’s and 80’s. She produced, directed and starred in, Annie Sprinkle’s Herstory of Porn, an award winning experimental film diary about her experiences in the adult film industry. Sprinkle earned a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality, received the 2013 Artist/Activist/Scholar Award at Performance Studies International at Stanford. Currently her multi-media art projects are dedicated to making the world a more sustainable place and pollinating the budding ecosex movement.

Xxavier Edward Carter is the Head Artist & Engineer of Goldfish Dreams LLC//G-D100%FOR SURE, the artistic production and publication house based in Oakland, California. The Stanford University Alum is a practicing artist working in a variety of media from printmaking to video to performance based and social works. He has served as an editor and production assistant at Cybernet Entertainment LLC,, and is currently chief director and videographer at G-D100%FOR SURE. The body features prominently in his artistic practice. He has shown and lectured on his practice in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America.
