A sex worker, performer, activist, educator, and overall femme fatale tour de force, Andre Shakti graduated cum laude from Towson University in Maryland with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and LGBT Studies in 2010. Originally from the East Coast, she now occupies the epicenter of all that is good and unholy, The San Francisco Bay Area. She produces monthly nightlife entertainment, graces burlesque stages and go-go boxes, and works as a queer and alternative porn performer, dominatrix, session wrestler, and live webcam model in addition to holding down a not-so-top-secret position in the information security industry. She never sleeps! Andre frequently lectures and advises on issues surrounding sexual pleasure, gender diversity, sex worker rights, non-monogamy, and queerness. Most recently her projects have included facilitating a “Porn Fest” track at this year’s International Ms Leather Conference, and co-founding the first “Sex Down South” conference in Atlanta, Georgia this coming October.

Maggie Mayhem is a Bay Area artist and activist for sex worker rights. She starred in the inaugural Xbiz “Feminist Release of the Year Award” for the film “Occupied” by Pink and White Productions. She has been proud to appear in many of Madison’s award winning films with plots as varied as a steampunk retelling of the classic Macbeth to an erotic focus on sustainable transportation in “Fast Girls, Fixed Gears.” She enjoys being a sexual storyteller who brings to life the erotic daydreams we have as we go through our daily lives. Malic Amalya is an Oakland-based queercore artist working in 16mm film and lo-fi video. His work has screened widely, including in the San Francisco Cinematheque’s Crossroads Film Festival, the Onion City Experimental Film & Video Festival in Chicago, and the MIX NYC Queer Experimental Film Festival. Malic is the recipient of the 2014 GOLDIE Award in Film, presented by the SF Bay Guardian. His film Gold Moon, Sharp Arrow won Best Experimental Film at the 2012 Northwest Filmmakers’ Festival in Portland, Oregon. Malic holds an MFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MA in History and Theory of Contemporary Art from the San Francisco Art Institute.

Malic lectures at the California College of the Arts (CCA) and will be teaching two courses on queer experimental film in the Public Education Department (open to all adults) at the San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) in the Fall of 2015.
