This March San Francisco will be experiencing the second annual Erotic Film School! Award winning filmmaker and feminist pornographer, Madison Young, is bringing the first ever 3 Day Erotic Film School to San Francisco.
Erotic Film School is a 3 Day Erotic Filmmaking Training Program lead by Madison Young. In this intensive weekend experience a group of students will study erotic filmmaking while gaining hands on erotic filmmaking experience with industry professionals in the indie porn mecca of San Francisco California on March 18th, 19th, and 20th.
The 3 day weekend program is broken down into
1. Pre-production (including casting,creating a budget,writing a script and model negotiations)
2. Production (shooting a scene, working with models, how to operate equipment)
3. Post-production (video editing, marketing, distribution)
Each day will be broken down into a series of presentations, hands on experience in which students will work on creating their own collaborative erotic film with their fellow students, panels and Q&A with industry professional performers, editors, directors and distributors as well as field trips to the set of a professional porn shoot.
The 3 day training will conclude with a networking meet and greet celebration with local erotic filmmakers, performers, and producers in which students will be screening their collaboratively made short erotic film and EFS will be awarding certificates of completion to students who attend the full training.

Young’s Erotic Film School is putting into practice the lessons she has learned over the past decade of directing over 40 erotic films as well as the many topics that she addresses in her soon to be released book The DIY Porn Handbook: Documenting Our Sexual Revolution which will be published through Greenery Press in spring 2016.

Madison Young is a revolutionary feminist artist, activist, filmmaker, wordsmith, and curator. Young’s breadth of work in the realm of sexuality spans from documenting our sexual culture in 40 feature length feminist pornographic films that have won numerous accolades including 6 feminist porn awards, numerous XBiz and AVN nominations and have been screened Internationally.
